HOW TO: use curl on Synology DSM

I'm stuck trying to get the nas setup to run curl scripts on a schedule. I see this post telling me to install iPKG and then curl.

I'm trying to follow info / login example at https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/DeveloperGuide/Synology_File_Station_API_Guide.pdf

The curl extension allows you to connect and communicate to many different types of servers wih many different types of protocols.

If you have a solution to WP cURL issues on the Synology NAS, I'd really like a video on that! Thank you. Of course, if anyone else reading this ...
